I'm still alive...

Been a super busy week....

Worked for six days straight.

Got over being sick...

my daughter was sick for 4 days

Were both better now

And just in time...

I'm off tomorrow & I have both my kids this weekend.

So I'm gonna enjoy our time together!

Well y'all work sucked!

It was all good until I got wrote-up right before I was getting ready to leave.

A little pissy from it, but it's been about 3 hours now

and I'm a little calmer from it.

The initial write-up stemmed on Wednesday after I left work....

doesn't that suck that they wait til you get off work & then slam you will a big bad write-up.

The write-up was totally bogus, because it was over rolling silverware....yeah pretty petty stuff.

come-on people lets get real, it should have been over poor service I gave a customer or something...

but I try to do my best with the public, so I try to steer clear of upsetting my tippers.

you have to understand too, they got alot of double standards too, it just matters who your friends with or can brown nose the most

I don't do that shit...it's so elementary!

But I did let them know if I'm going to get wrote-up from some stupid stuff, I better see others getting wrote-up as well.

Anyways, that is how my day went...how was yours?

An update....

Went to my son's football game Sunday...

I still felt bad, but would have felt worse if he missed.

They lost their second game of the year; their 4-2 so far...

They were a very tough team to beat, plus one of our QB is out for 2 games

He injured his knee in the last game before this one.

Quinton made 7 good tackles throughout the game....I'm soooo proud of him.

Despite the fact the lost, the team worked really hard.

Went to work for an hour yesterday, still feeling like poop!

I went to the doctor today and got some medicine,

I just hope I feel better soon.

I wanna do something fun this weekend!!!

Laura needs to get out & have some fun....

it's been awhile...

Anyways, I will catch up with y'all later.

What a week it's been.

I was sick with a sinus infection for 4 days...grrrr

I somehow manage to work,

no fun!

but I made lotta money, so it was all good....right?

I still haven't had a moment of real rest.

I tried to go to bed earlier than usual....10

but NOOOOO I just felt really bad...grrrr

Anywho....

took my son, daughter and my nephew to a corn maze

it was pretty cool

next time I go 

I will NOT be wearing 2 inch heeled boots,

and I will not take my daughter, unfortunately

carrying her most of the time was not easy

the rough terrain, plus my boots

I almost twisted my ankle twice

I got tommorrow off work,

I'm taking my son to his out of town football game

they're 4 and 1

I love to watch him play

ok I need to go now...have a good evening all!

Well today was almost a repeat of yesterday....

work wise...we were super busy.

Our neighbors *cough* bob evans *cough* were still closed today...

so we got alotta business.

Can you say cha-chang!!!

But I must admit I'm so looking forward to having Fri & Sat off.

My eyes want to slam shut around 9 ish nowadays!!!

Anyways, I hope all is going better in your worlds!!!

Well I had a very adventurous day today.

I went to another location to serve at one of our other resturaunts.

Due to power outage because of the wind storms that hit Sunday.

Didn't go to work Monday because the power was out.

Anyways, I went to another location,

It was horrible, you all....

Me & a few others went to help out, due to the overflow of customers

These people that worked there had to nerve to complain about us being there, 

after being there a total of 5 minutes....:S

It didn't end there either,

they were the most ungrateful people,

did help you with shit, anytime you ask they were very vague.

Luckly there were others there, so it help out

otherwise I probably would have ran out of there with tears in my eyes....

and never looked back.

After working 5 1/2 hours solid....no breaks or nothing

A continous line of people waiting, standing outside the building....

it didn't even let up once....5 1/2 straight of non-stop serving....ugh!!!

Anyways, me and the guy I rode with escape as soon as possible.

There might be some consquences to deal with tomorrow, but I just want the hell out of there...

I will NEVER help out at that place every AGAIN....NOT EVER!!!

The others stated they wouldn't either....

The only thing that came out of this, was I didn't miss another day of work, without pay.....

I made lotsa mulla....YAY!!!

I'm extremely exhausted this evening folks. 

This weekend has completely wiped me out...ugh!

Yesterday I took my son to his football game,

about an hour drive.

I left early to make sure I made it on time,

plus in case I got lost....

well I made it without getting lost.

An hour too early before my sons' team had to practice for the game.

The weather was 80 plus and hot as hell.

Pure sun and heat...ugh....the boys had it worse with the uniforms. :(

The game start a little later than expected, suppose to be 2:30 but start 15 min later.

Anyways, after grabbing some cold water and a few cigarettes later.

I sat to watch my son team play football.

They didn't score any touchdowns until the 4th quarter....they were tied 

until 2 minutes til the end of the game and scored the winning point....YAY!!!

We got back home around 6 ish 

I was a little tired from the sun, heat and the ride.

Our town has this local festival every year,

So me and the kids, including my nephew went to that...

We only stayed an hour, which the kids we ok to leave...thank goodness

Came home and crash around 10am!

Got up the next morning and went to work for about 6 hours.

Picked the kids at my parents house.

Went home, hoping to lay down for a bit...

my sister called saying she was coming over,

She doesn't come over often so I couldn't tell her no...

That was a little over 2 hours ago, she's still here......

but SLEEPING!!!!

GRRRRRRR

That could have been me.

But her daughter and mine are playing together, so we both cant sleep.

Anyways, I got to work 4 more days until I get a day off---actually 2 days off back-to-back, boy I can't wait. :)

I have today off and it was sort of a busy one.

My son informed me yesterday that his getting school pictures taken.

For those who don't know....he lives with his father.

My schedule currently is getting him Tues & Thursday for a few hours and every other weekend.

It totally bites.

But that a whole nother entry in itself.

So Tuesday evening I found out his pictures we being taken tomorrow.

I rushed up to the school to pick picture pose and background pics I wanted.

I went in my grungies, so I went back home to shower and get ready to start the day.

It takes me awhile sometime to get out, because McKenna wants to watch her shows on t.v.

I went to the bank, dollar store and then groceries store....I get to the store....

And my chest starts to hurt....i've bad these pains before.

Usually I just inhale deeply and they go away, but

this time it didn't

I called my dad to let him know, but also get a hold of my mom

she works at the local hospital in town

her number didn't go thru

so I just continued shopping....I didn't realize it

but the pain went away!

By time I got the check out counter, my dad was there checking up on me

sooooo sweet! 

I'm better now. But I hate to think of me being with my daughter alone and not having anyone know what happens when I might need some help.

I was in that perdictament last month, when I went on a hike with my daughter.

I started getting all lightheaded and feeling funny.

Out in the middle of noway with my daughter and feeling funny.

Called mom for help.....

Luckly we got back to the car

but I couldn't feel my legs for awhile

I didn't realize it at the time, but we walked for 2 miles in like 90 degree heat....yay totally smart!

After driving and blasting the A/C I started to feel better.

Nothing more scary then not feeling right and not think straight.

Anyways, all is better now...thank goodness.

Wow....I got a little windy there....didn't I

I was off work today! YAY!!! 

Went to the dentist & got my teeth cleaned.

It was my daughters first visit. She was scared. So she sat on my lap, while the dentist looked at her teeth....she was sooo happy to get a new toothbrush.

Went to my son's football practice for a few. For those who knew me back then, Quinton is now in 5th grade....wow where did the time go.

The highlight of my day was changing light bulbs....3 of them went out in one week timeframe.

Anyways, not much else going on in my world....got to go to work tomorrow and then another day off...I love my schedule this week.
