Some days I see nothing but death and misery, and other days I see nothing bu beauty and love.

Today was a day where I saw beauty. Cycling home from work, listening to the arcade fire album on my ipod, I saw that the nights were getting brighter, the sky was a deep blue instead of black. It made me smile :-)

I am such a shit blogger! And the fact that the word 'blog' sounds like some kids play-word for poo or something doesn't help.
Anyway, it is the dawn of a new year and do I care? Not really as my birthday is on the 2nd of January all a new year menas to me is another notch on the bed post (of age?) so to speak. I am 29 in 2 days!! Be nice to be and say 'but Barri, you only look....well....26!'. Go on- make my day ;-)
Britta is over at the moment which is nice, lots of sleepin in late and cuddlin. All is good.

I am glad I didn't go to Amsterdam with my friends, as I have a feelin it could get rather (or very) messy...yes Simon, I mean YOUUU!! :-P

Anyay, i'm off now. Still waiting for Brittas bloody luggage to turn up! Grrr
