WTF?

Posted Nov 21 at 7:40 PM

What the hell have they done to this site now?

My premiere expires on Wednesday, and I'm debating whether or not I'll renew it.  They better get this shit fixed pronto.

Ah, playoff hockey is here.  One of the best times of the year, although it is too damn long, I think the first two rounds should be best of 5.

My Caps get the hated Flyers tonight.  Once upon a time, this was our biggest rival, and still honestly should be.  Don't matter.  Caps in 5.

Now, I'll be the first to admit I like looking at an attractive naked woman.  Attractive women are, well, attractive and fun to look at.

And I enjoy viewing people's galleries, not only the ones with the aforementioned attractive naked women, but also the ones that are just people's lives in general.

But I really hate the way this site does the galleries now.  Used to be, you could choose to view either a woman's gallery, or a mans, now you no longer have that choice.  Sure it says womens or mens on the pulldown, but you really just end up with a bunch of guys galleries spamming the entire page, full of pictures they ripped off the internet.

Porn is a wonderful thing, but let me find it on my own, that's all I ask.  I really don't want to scroll through entire pages of guys updating their galleries with pictures right clicked off other sites.  Enough with the spam already.

I can't stand people that have no common sense or sense of humor.  The world needs to lighten up.  If you can't see things other than black and white, than you need to remove the stick from your ass and adjust your color control knob.

The world would be so much more agreeable if people were a lot less stuck on themselves and understood that not everyone is serious all the time.  This is a social website, when I want to be serious, I go to work, when I want to mess around, I come here.  If you can't seperate the two, then stay at work.

What is the draw of Hillary Clinton?  I just don't see it.  Haven't we as a nation had enough of the Clinton/Bush swapping?  W surrounded himself with self-serving people and the Clinton's continue to surround themselves with slimebags.  Historically, the Clinton administration did nothing.  His biggest claim to fame was the economy, and that, like everything else surrounding these people was surface fluff with no substance.  It was all get rich quick schemes (kinda like Whitewater).  Why do we need more business as usual, inside the beltway regulars crap from Hillary?

I will be the first to admit that I am not a liberal.  I am a conservative, not a Republican, but a conservative (hmmmm . . .that sounds like a topic for another blog entry).  I just can not see what is appealing about this woman.  She is dichotomous (she claims to be a feminism, and that women should succeed based on them, not their husband; yet she got where she is because of who she married, and when she was humiliated in front of the world by her husbands philandering, she blamed the "great right wing conspiracy" and said she was going to "stand by her man"), she's just power hungry, and she is full of shit.  She contradicts herself more than anyone I've ever seen.

If we, as a nation are going to have a Democrat as President next, I don't care if they are a liberal, as long as they listen to the PEOPLE, not the special interest groups (stop greasing the squeeky wheel only, pay attention to the other 3 for a change), and they end this partisan bullshit in DC that the Clinton's and Bush's just seem to continue to fertilize.

And let's all vote new people into Congress in 08 as well, because we need to lose Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Shumer, Harry Reid, John Murtha, Patrick Leahy, Dennis Hastert (done deal already), LIndsey Graham, John McCain and the rest of the "business as usual, let's further divide the nation by listening to business and special interests instead of the rest of the country" mentality.

Pretty much, this season of SNL has sucked, especially considering they've had about 5 new episodes and shown the LeBron James episode twice.  But I have to watch tonight because the musical guest is Feist.  Now, I couldn't pick this broad out of a police line up back in August.  But ever since that new Ipod Nano came out, her damn 1-2-3-4 song has been stuck in my head.

While she's on, I"m going to try to telekinetically rip out her vocal cords.

Thank God for the Maple Leafs.

They're always good to end a losing streak.

It's Halloween

Posted

As we prepare for the pagan celebration of death, I am brought to think about nothing really important, but it's a good time to make some random observations. . .

I still think LSU is the best team in the country.

My pool looks like shit, and I need to get it clean before covering it.

I'll be glad when this week is over.

Rachael Ray is a little bit hot.  I saw her do one of her shows in Bermuda where she went snorkling.  When she got out of the water, her nipples were hard.  She's got puffy nipples.  She's a little bit hot.

I refuse to see the fascination with Paris Hilton.

Not sure if I can get used to calling Disney/MGM Studios "Disney Hollywood Studios".

I miss smoking.

I hope Georgia beats Florida.

The naked female form is so much more attractive than that of the male.  That is just one of the reasons why I couldn't be gay.

Stewie for Governor.  I kind of wish I lived in Rhode Island.  Of course, anywhere has got to be better than Alabama.

Happy Halloween.

Observations

I don't like when people change their names now, it confuses me.  Stop it.

When are people going to realize that none of the politicians in DC give a shit about anything that we actually want out in the actual country.

I hate this. . .when you are driving in the left lane of a 2 lane interstate, and you are approaching a car that is following a truck in the right lane.  You are going faster than either of the people in the right lane, and there is NOBODY else around you.  Then, just as you are preparing to pass, the a-hole following the truck decides that NOW is the time to pass the semi, and they cut you off, then never get back into the right lane.  Like the 2 seconds they could have waited for you to pass them would matter to their slow asses.

I also hate people in the left lane that are afraid to pass trucks in the right, so the trucker finally cuts them off, slowing down BOTH lanes of traffic.

Bacne, not your friend.

How come Apollo from the original Battlestar Galactaca never did anything else?

For that matter, what happened to Howlin' Mad Murdoch from "The A-Team"?

Dasani bottled water tastes funny to me.  It's got an aftertaste, try it.

Harry Potter dies

Posted

And then he comes back to life.  With the knowledge that he is in fact the seventh Horcrux.  I don't know about you, but I loved the book.  I've gone back to read Order of the Pheonix now because I wanted to remember what was in the book that wasn't in the movie, and I've already found a couple of things that kind of were important for the seventh book.  Everyone assumes Petunia meant James when she made the disparaging remark about the kid who told her and Lily about Azkaban.  Well, it turns out it was Snape.  What a great web JK Rowling wove, and it all came together in the end.

I liked the epilogue too, if only because it gives us a 19 year gap to find out about in future works (what happened to Lucius Malfoy  and who hunted down the rest of the death eaters).

Good book

And OOTP was the second best movie of the summer after Transformers.
