i keep coming back

Well here i am again... i disappear for awhile just to keep everyone on their toes... lol
I'm back with a bunch more interesting news... well where do i start.... this year has been eventful that is for sure.
My daughter had a baby boy (making me a grandma) in feb 08.  Her and the baby now live with me.  After i got back from Punta Cana, my hubby got laid off and he decided to move to BC and I was to follow as soon as the house sold.  Well months went by and the house wasn't selling.  Our relationship took a down fall and our paths came to an end.  I am now single and starting a new journey down my path of life.  
My job as a maintenance requisition technician comes to an end on this friday and i start my new position with Husky different department on tues. next week as a corporate admin requisition technician.  I'm pretty excited to start that.  
Well i think thats about all,.... I bought a new lap top so i can come on line and not have my comp crash anymore...

Well it has been ages since i've been here and i thought maybe my friends on here would like an update.... I'm still in Calgary and just recently went to the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) and loved it there but our first day back to work from holidays hubby gets laid off.  So he packed up all his stuff and loaded the camper and went to Kelowna to find work... he is now working in vernon at volkswagon/audi dealership... and I'm staying in Calgary until the house sells, then i'll be heading there as well.  I'm finally going home, i was born and raised there so i'm really looking forward to it.
I'm now a grandmother, my daughter Bridget has a beautiful baby boy Jan. 28th.  He is the light of my life.  They still are in Whitecourt but i'm hoping eventually they will move to BC as well... she wants too, but her bf can't find work there... 
Well thats it with me, not much else new.. just living day by day and having fun doing it....

Mood: blah, Music: the vibe
Well its friday night and what am i doing??? Sitting on the computer.... yaaaa doesn't that sound like a real blast.... Well its early evening so maybe things will pick up.... I need to find and make some friends here in Calgary, going from a social butterfly back in Whitecourt to sitting at home on a friday night bored out of my tree is not my idea of fun... I'm finding it so hard to meet anyone here, everyone is so involved with their own lives and always in such a hurry.... come on people slow down and have fun....
Besides not having any friends here, its a pretty good city, i've been to a few of the night clubs here and always had a good time... well i'm going to mosey on and see what kind of trouble i can get into..... blahhhhhh

Mood: great

Well i've finally arrived.  I now live in Calgary... yaaaaaaa its been a long wait to get here.  We moved into our new house on July 15th.  This city rocks, there is so much to do compared to good ol' whitecourt.

I'm not working and don't plan on it for a bit, maybe never, we'll see how it goes.  I'll probably get bored and find a part time job somewhere.

Moving to CALGARY

Well i got the best news ever.  My hubby got a new job in Calgary and we will be moving as soon as we sell our house here and get another one is Calgary.  And the great part about being in Calgary is i don't have to work anymore.... I can be a bum for once in my life... yaaaaaaaaa

Well i'm still loving my new truck.  I've put 6000 km on it so far.  We went down to Kelowna in April and showed it off to my family.  They all loved it too.  It isn't the greatest on gas though, but i can deal with it.

This weekend we are off to St. Paul for a wedding, i went up there last weekend for the staggett and took my camper up there and left it, so this weekend we just have to drive up there and its all set and ready to go...

This month is going to be crazy for me.  I have the wedding this weekend, my son graduates high school next weekend and the weekend after that is our annual ball tourney in fox creek.  Now in between all those weekends i have to find time to sell my house and look for another one...  Oh well my last day of work is May 26th, so i can do it during the week i guess.

New Truck and Camper

OMG guess what i bought people.  I bought a 2006 Ford F150 Lariat.  It is a 4x4 short box fully loaded.  It has a DVD system on the roof, heated leather 8 way power seats (driver and passenger), four door super crew, removable compartments on the roof, sliding back window, canopy to match the color of the truck which is smokestone, command start, kick ass 6 disc, MP3 stereo and many many more options.

I totally love it, its amazing and its my baby.  I got a awesome deal on it too.  It was listed for 54k and i paid 42k, my friend is a sales manager... heheh

We also bought a 2006 - 24' Dutchmen travel trailer, so i can't wait till summer to go camping... its gonna be so nice... no more leaky tent trailer.

So needless to say we spent a ton of money this week, but its okay cus my car is paid off this month, and the payments i am making now on both vehicles is only 50.00 more then what i was paying for my car.

As for my car, i sold it to my daughter for $1.00, she is pretty happy now that she has a reliable vehicle.

Well here i am again, sorry for not writing in like ever... hehehe

Not much new with me, just working lots and getting ready for christmas.  Its been a busy holiday season for me with xmas parties and visiting family and friends.

Chris got a new job, same company just different position and in the summer after my son graduates high school we will be moving to Calgary.  I have already been promised a transfer and that they would make a position for me there, so that is kewl.  I'm really looking forward to it, i haven't lived in a city in a very long time.  We we actually decided that we aren't going to live right in the city, we are looking at country hills or coventry hills.  I am pretty excited can you tell... hehhe

Since i had my reduction (which has almost been a year now) i have gone from a B cup to a C cup, the buggers are growing back....damn them... but they are much perkier now.  hehhe

Well i hope you all have a fantastic christmas and a very drunken new years.

Well i guess its time to write in my journal again, been over a month... sorry all... hehehhe

Lets see not much new with me, had a fairly busy weekend. Thursday night Lynn, Montanna and I drove to the city and spent two nights with my daughter Bridget. Friday we went to Klondike Days and my daughters bf wasn`t feeling good and fainted... they took him to the medic building and pumped two bags of fluid into him and then released him.

Then friday night Lynn, Montanna, Bridget and I went to the Avril concert. She definitely can`t sing live, she sounded horrible but Montanna who is 6 yrs old loved it and that made it worth going. Just to see her face and excitement was awesome.

Sat. we got up early and headed home just for me to pack my camping equipment and ball stuff and head to Edson to play in the Kinsmen Tourney. There was about 250 teams, we lost every game. The team i played on wasn`t very good and the pitcher sucked. So i got to come home on Sunday. Which was a good thing cus i don`t think i could sleep in that tent again. I used my sons tent which is a 3 man tent and i put two blow up mattress on top of each other in it and it took up most of the tent. Then in the middle of the night both mattresses went flat. It was aweful....

Aug. 12 weekend is my fox creek ball tourney, i can`t wait its going to be much more fun then Edson. We have a really fun team going this year... partiers... lol

Well i better go and get some work done...

Hmmm just bored here thought i should update my journal but i have absulutely nothing to talk about... hmmmmm let me see....

Well baseball is going good, last night we played in the pouring rain and won both games.

I went to Red Deer for a night/day. Our shop there was approx. 1 million out in inventory so i had to go help do a second count/audit. I was suppose to stay for three days but we had lots of help and finished early and i got to come home.

Omg how boring is this journal entry?????? Ummmm could it be any lamer?

Well before i torture you guys anymore i`ll quit while i`m ahead....

Well not a heck of alot to talk about but i thought i would at least write something in my Journal since i haven`t in awhile.
Hmmm lets see, the most excitment i`ve had today is my new work computer has been approved and should be here in 3 weeks or so. Then i don`t have to cuss at this one anymore.

Its the long weekend here (Victoria Day). I`m not doing a heck of alot. Sat. we are having a going away party for Chris`s sister and family. Should be a good drunk... hehehe

The rest of the weekend i`m probably gonna be holding the couch down alot. Maybe catch up on some well needed sleep.

But i gotta run... its coffee break....
