CD's of the day - R.E.M. - "Chronic Town" & "Dead Letter Office"
There are certain actors that are just flat out great. All the time. They can do anything. They aren't necessarily well known and their parts aren't always large. But they possess skills that project precision with effortlessness. Three of my favorites off the top of my head are :
1.) Scott Wilson - Chilling portrayal of a heartless killer in "In Cold Blood." "In The Heat Of The Night," "The Right Stuff" and many more.
3.) Allison Janney - Is there anything that she hasn't been wonderful in? "Drop Dead Gorgeous," Weeds," "Juno." You can't help but to be drawn to her when she is on screen.
Snack of the moment - Cake batter milkshake. An ice cream joint 'round here serves up this particular flavor. Easier than licking the beaters.
DVD of the moment - "Weeds"
Charge of the moment - The Sox shut out the Rays. Lester is boss.
I'm sorry, it is too warm to talk about football. Yes, I could lament about Tom Brady. The season doesn't really start for me until the Red Sox are done. Baseball has and will always rule.
