CD's of the moment - Albert King - "Born Under A Bad Sign."

Bangles - "All Over The Place."

The Who - "Who's Better, Who's Best."

Much ink (deservedly so) is being poured upon the passing of Paul Newman. There isn't much I could add that hasn't already been written elsewhere. His prodigious talent and gracious humanity will be sorely missed. Pick out a favorite work of his, throw it in the machine, and pay tribute to the man.

Gearing up for another Sox post season run. Things are a tad more cloudy than they've been in previous encounters. The Angels look stronger and finally have that missing bat. Will the absence of Manny come back to haunt?  Beckett is a post season God, but no Schilling this time through. Will the less than stellar pen be the downfall? We shall see.

I smell something burning. I do believe it is coming from both Flushing and the Bronx.

Concerning the end of Shea...come on. Hell, most Mets fans I know can't stand the dump.

TV of the moment -- "Bang The Drum Slowly."  The original teleplay that starred Paul Newman. Later made into a motion picture with Robert De Niro and Michael Moriarty.

DVD of the moment -- "Weeds - Season Three."

Dessert of the moment - Coconut cream pie.
