Revolutionary Funeral Idea

Posted

Don`t ask me what I was thinking about but I had a FABULOUS idea for funerals.

Bury your loved one with an ipod, give family and or friends the same ipod with an engraving ( In Memory of Roomswithsub 1977-2005 ) and program their ipods to have the same music selection.

Up to 12-20 hours after the burial you can listen to the same music as your dearly departed... plus you will have a keepsake with 120 + songs (preferably ones that they picked out) to remember them by.

The cheapest Ipod is $99, if the funeral home buys in bulk I am sure they could get that discounted, and of course anyone outside of the immediate family and close friends could be asked to cover their own cost if they wanted one.

hmmm.... Apple should be paying me commission for this...

Damn . . . what a great way to ruin a lot of good songs with a lot of sorrow. You sadist! Tell you what, just leave me the TV. Heh. :p

Hmm, how best to break this to you? Dead people... they aren't alive anymore. They can't actually hear music. You'd be just as well off leaving a list of the songs you would be listening to, had you not been so unfortunate as to meet with some fatal occurance, such as a rampaging cockroach with vengeance on its mind.
