Christmas Party

So Saturday just gone was the works christmas party. As I suspected, I didnt really enjoy it. Not for lack of effort, it was just for some reasopn my so called 'workmates' decided that I wasnt worth more than 2 seconds worth of conversation. Especially when there were far more interesting people there. Bastards.
So I spent the night drinking alone, and generally getting depressed. Bah.

Sunday balanced the weekend out though. I went out with a friend and went for a mini bar crawl down Canal street in manchester aka 'The Village'. It was great fun just the two of us, especially playing pool in the 'womens only' bar - Vanilla. It was empty so they didnt mind me being in there, but I did get some funny looks off some of the clientelle.

I dont know if anyone knows the area but we went to Spirit, Vanilla, Baa baas and coyotes. I was mighty tipsy after that crawl. Oh and everyone should try Fruli. Its a strawberry beer but its quite nice.

It really has been a long time since Ive been on here. Apologies to anyone who sent me messages I hadnt responded.

Whats been going on? Same old, same old. Finished my course of dental treatment so Hurrah for that!
Managed to break my glasses so I had to go and replace them. Its both a good and a bad thing as I needed to anyway, but I was hoping to do so AFTER Christmas. No matter, its done now and I can see again now
*grin*

Work is the same old crap. They are still determined to grind me into the dust but it isnt working so Hah! Ive survived 3 years so I can survive a little longer/

Just over 2 weeks now til I go to NY for Christams. HURRAH!!!

I can not tell you how much I am looking forward to this. Well...I can...

Whats been going on

Well, I havent updated in a long while and I feel compelled to do so.

So, Girlfriend is getting better slowly after her operation. Shes still getting some irritaion where they cut the holes in her but them Inm not suprised. Shes a little worried but shes seeing the doc tomorrow so hopefully he can tend to her worries.

Me? Well workwise Im changing back to the original factory I work at and going back onto shift rotation so I have to sort out my bodyclock again. I havent been sleeping well recently to tell the truth. Last night I was woken up at 4am by people across the way entertaining girls in their garden jacuzzi. I could hear them clear as day.

Otherwise, I cant wait till its Christmas. Im tired and I need the rest, and Im not really having any fun time inbetween work time.

Family around today so Im a grumpy git as they always fight and it sets me off. I think I shall have to knock back a few beers in a few and try to ignore them.

Weekend gone

I did have a good weekend after all. In fact its been a while since Ive had that much fun just going out and staying in the same pub chatting. I spent the day with an exworkmate of mine who in all honesty I ddint know that well but kept in contact with because she seemed really nice, and sunday proved she was really nice. We got on well.
Lets hope I can keep the weekend enjoyment on a roll when I go to visit my friends this weekend.

As an aside, I dreamt about my Bestmates Girlfriends last night. What could that mean??

The Weekend

Ahh, its the weekend. And its about time too. The time for enjoyment and fun. Well actually for me its a time for rest and sleep. But this weekend I think will be different. I have a few beers to knock back tonight, and Im off out drinking tomorrow afternoon. Its been ages since I had a proper social drinking session, I may be out of practice. Next weekend Im booked up too. Going to visit my friends in Leicester. Been a bloody long time since i visited them.  I think the last time was their housewarming and that was spring at least.

Why is it that if a problem is going to happen at work, its going to happen RIGHT before you are due to go home. Happened to me today forcing me to stay an extra 45mins, which I wouldnt normally mind but not when Im on the late shift. Then I just want to get out of there as fast as poss.

had a Dentist Appointment today.

3 fillings on one side (two were replacements of old ones I think), my teeth cleaned around the gum area with that spinny tool and also my teeth polished. However Im going to ask my dentist on my next appointment about one of the fillings because it seems rather rough and sharp.

Well hello there. This is my first blog entry. I dont know how often I will use it, mainly because I dont anticipate many people actually reading it.
I axtually have another blog over at LJ, but everyone is all Myspace these days.
