I awoke from my temporary stupor of the mind and found myself walking through a foggy marsh. It was a muggy, forgotten May night that no one's ever spoken of. Underneath my feet I could feel the soft, wet ground giving way to my every ghostly step. I walked toward the moonlight in search of all that had been promised but had never been delivered; in my haste, I ignored all that time had left for me to ponder.
