There's a yellow flower on my desk. And a cup of coffee. I'm enjoying a bit of quiet. As I am writing this, it is early and I'm not quite awake yet, so don't expect me to make too much sense. I have a handful of children and pets and such but prefer not to think of myself as the typical domestic type. But I guess I kind of am. I made my own granola this week.

I've returned safe from my hiking trip. Actually, I returned safe from my trip on Sunday (I'll get to that) but am just now getting sorted out mentally (and getting enough unpacked to find my notes) to put together a blog about it.Rather than going through a detailed blow by blow account of the trip (I walked through some woods, climbed over a tree, found some water, pitched a tent, had sex in a bayou, ate, slept, woke up, packed up the tent, walked through some woods, saw lizards, bugs, etc.... read more...
